Pictures

As per the request of Team Delta's Dan Danknick:
"And hey, where are all those pictures to back up your sharp attutude?"
I have put up pictures of some of the stuff we have so far. I have no fancy digital camera so everything gets either laid upon the flatbed scanner or shot on my OM-10, developed and then laid on the flatbed. I have included scans of some gears and some other metal bits, as well as a shot of my working areas. There are photos of the frame mockup and hopefully we will have a REAL metal frame to show you in the next couple of weeks. Click on the thumbnails for the expanded versions!

Some parts: The two main spur gears, two pinions, and a fancy napkin holder. A large pile of metal.. I’ll leave it up to you to figure out what the small pieces of teflon rod are for.
The workbench.. littered with robot parts etc.. Where all the other work gets done. Notice the clone P200, Shure SM-57, HP48G, Plustek Scanner, trackball, and a sparkley cat sticker.
One of the 1/4" aluminum side-plates. This is the result of drilling holes for a while. Notice the mounting points for 2 motors. One of the 1/4" aluminum interior plates. This is the result of drilling many many many holes for a very long time.
A tire, and a wheel (which will be replaced). One of our 4 motors.
Fat NTN bearings.. Yes, those are 1/2" id.
Mr.Smashy's on board computer... sort of (HP48G)
A photo of the frame mock up. Another photo, from above.
On a side note, on the same roll of film were shots from a party that was at my house. Here is a fellow from New Zealand. His friend said: "He'll do anything when he's drunk!" To which the Kiwi asked me: "What do you want me to do, mate?"... this photo required no request from me. This one was requested. That's my patio he's jumping off of. He dropped about eight feet and cleared about 12 feet of flat concrete deck to land in our garden. Mr Smashy drew a lot of inspiration from this guy.
