All the frame and wheel materials laid out at H&H welding. This shop was
run by a crazy old German who refered to all my robot parts as "shit"... "What is
this shit?" he would ask... "Bah!" he would say too. Aparently he once hand made a whole suit of plate armour, and it is on display in a museum in Hamburg. A strange fellow, but it was
ok because it was all in good fun. (I hope)

Here is one of the shop hands doing some welding, nothing too exciting.

Here is the welded frame of Mr Smashy, pre-trimming. Sitting next to Mr Squishy, the cardboard model.

One of the sides' gear and motor assemblies test fitted. It seems to work ok. I have yet to run the gears with the motors, but I hope to in the next couple of weeks.

One of Mr Smashy's laboriously created wheels. They are pretty cool though. The metal lathe is my friend and source of scary/frustrating moments. Note: Michael and I worked for 8 hours combined to get this wheels to do what we wanted.

A shot of Mr Smashy, with both wheels installed, from behind.

Mr Smashy, and Mr Squishy. The final welded frame came out 1" wider than the model.
Other than that, little has changed, and we should have Mr Smashy running by the end of the month... Wish us luck!

Some more radio/electronic equipment that will soon be installed in MS. Note: JR 622 radio, Vantec RDFR22, 2 more motors, 3 1500mAh Sanyo packs, that hopefully will be replaced with a better solution ; )

| A photo of Chris Pasteras doing a very big mute grab over the kicker at Slam City Jam. I figured I'd throw this one in cos it looks cool.
